Next weekend (7th/8th/9th June 2024) the Thomas Hopkins Memorial Bike Ride 2024 will take place. This annual event is one of the major fundraising events for LLMF that has taken place each year since 2016. It is organised by the friends and colleagues who knew Thomas and takes an enormous amount of planning and co-ordination to do their extraordinary challenge. We are delighted to announce that 2 key members of the team (Jonathan Hughes & Andrew Chilcott) have recently joined LLMF as Trustees, more on that news to follow! Next Friday a few unfit, over weight and quite frankly delusional men will be cycling the entire length of Wales from North to South. Covering almost 270 miles in 3 days, some of us may not even make it past Snowdon!!
Avoiding pubs and night clubs as best we can, I’m sure we will give it our best shot for an amazing cause Lymphoma Leukaemia Myeloma Fund (Wales) – an incredible charity, and most importantly in memory of our friend Tom Hopkins.
